Flix is seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join the operational finance team in Dallas, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operational Finance. This is an individual contributor role focused on driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic insights across the organization.
Key responsibilities include leading budget and forecast processes for various departments, creating timely and standardized global financial reporting across brands, and serving as a strategic business partner to operational teams. The analyst will oversee financial performance of key business segments, identify and monitor KPIs, develop financial models, and provide insights on cost control, margin improvement, and operational efficiency. The role involves reviewing month-end results, challenging assumptions based on business performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field with 2+ years of professional experience in corporate FP&A or operational finance. Required skills include strong financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis capabilities; advanced Excel proficiency; excellent analytical and communication abilities; and demonstrated experience interpreting financial data and trends. The candidate should be comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in finance or accounting, completion of financial leadership development programs, proficiency with enterprise systems (Oracle Fusion, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Hyperion Planning), knowledge of GAAP/IFRS/SEC regulations, and experience in PE-backed companies with international operations.
