Behavox is a cloud-native AI company providing an integrated controls platform for global financial institutions—banks, asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, insurance businesses, and commodity firms. The platform unifies communications and trade surveillance, compliant archiving, policy management, and front-office analytics on a single AI-native SaaS stack.
The Senior FP&A Analyst owns Behavox's core financial model—its architecture, accounting foundations, and the forecasts and analysis that drive leadership decisions. This is a high-autonomy role that works without detailed briefs and sets the modeling standard others build on. The analyst is accountable for the accuracy and integrity of all numbers and for turning them into sharp, actionable recommendations for senior leadership, the board, and investors, including downside scenarios alongside point estimates.
Key responsibilities include:
• Financial Model Ownership: Build and maintain the core three-statement and operating model with scenario and sensitivity layers. Integrate budgets into the model (without owning the budgeting cycle itself) and ensure accuracy and integrity of every output and assumption.
• Acquisition Modeling & Integration: Build valuations, scenarios, and pro-forma combined-entity models for acquisition evaluation and due diligence. Fold closed deals into a single consolidated view, handling purchase accounting and integration mechanics.
• Business-Review Reporting: Drive the substance of monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for senior management, the board, and investors. Turn the model into a narrative explaining what moved results and what it means for the business.
• Metrics Analysis & Business Partnering: Diagnose why metrics are moving and identify which levers change them. Partner with functions across the business to understand revenue drivers, cost structure, and operating levers.
Required expertise:
• Deep knowledge of integrated three-statement and operating models, plus the accounting that supports them (including SaaS revenue recognition and cost treatment).
• Proficiency in bottom-up short-term forecasting and driver-based long-term modeling; fluency with SaaS unit economics and metrics.
• Experience with M&A valuation, purchase accounting, and consolidated modeling.
• Strong business and commercial acumen—understanding how every function makes money and spotting numbers that don't add up.
• Command of Google Sheets and Excel; awareness of AI and automation tools and where they are trustworthy.
