Vercel, the agentic infrastructure company behind Next.js and v0, is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Administrator to join the Finance Transformation team. This role owns the day-to-day operations of Vercel's finance tech stack and serves as the team's technical builder for AI-driven workflow automation.
You will be the primary owner of production support for financial systems, triaging and resolving tickets that support Finance stakeholders and the broader company. Your responsibilities include administering NetSuite, Zip, Stripe, Ramp, Navan, and related tools—handling everything from user provisioning and access requests to complex cross-system incident troubleshooting. You'll become the subject matter expert on Serval, Vercel's AI-powered ticketing platform, configuring it to automate support workflows and identifying opportunities to reduce manual effort.
Beyond day-to-day operations, this is fundamentally a build role. You'll design and develop AI agents and internal tools that automate Finance Transformation workflows, such as dashboards in v0, change management review agents, and backlog triage automation. You'll reimagine the project intake process end-to-end to create a seamless experience for stakeholders across Finance and the company.
You'll maintain strong financial systems controls, including role-based access, segregation of duties, change management, system documentation, and support for SOX/audit requirements. You'll also support month-end close activities and coordinate with vendors and internal technical partners (IT and Security) when issues span systems or integrations.
The role requires 5+ years of financial systems administration experience with deep NetSuite expertise. You're comfortable owning a shared ticket queue, juggling multiple concurrent systems and stakeholders, and troubleshooting complex cross-system issues end-to-end. You have hands-on experience using AI tooling to build practical solutions and automate workflows, with enthusiasm for deepening those skills. You understand finance business processes, especially procure-to-pay and record-to-report cycles, and operate autonomously in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
This is a fully remote role based in India, requiring availability during 9:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m. IST (PST-aligned hours) to support US stakeholders, with extended hours during month-end close.
