Human Interest is a high-growth fintech company on a mission to make retirement benefits accessible to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States. Backed by major investors including BlackRock, SoftBank, and TPG, the company has raised approximately $500 million to date and is preparing for public company readiness. You will join the Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the GTM (Go-to-Market) Finance function within the GTM FP&A team. Reporting to the Director of GTM Finance, you will be a critical player in cross-functional efforts spanning Sales, Partnerships, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Onboarding. Key responsibilities include: - Design, build, and maintain sophisticated financial models for GTM operating expenses including sales & marketing spend, headcount, compensation, commissions, revenue share, and programs across all go-to-market channels - Own variance analysis, identifying root causes of budget-to-actual variances and translating them into actionable insights for leadership - Serve as a strategic finance business partner to GTM leaders, owning their budgets and headcount plans, driving spend accountability, and providing ad hoc analysis - Provide data-driven insights on sales & marketing efficiency metrics including CAC, payback period, and enable leadership to anticipate future trends - Automate core financial systems (Pigment, NetSuite, Snowflake) to create a single source of truth and move beyond manual spreadsheets - Synthesize complex financial data into clear narratives for Board decks, investor materials, and monthly business reviews - Create and monitor GTM efficiency and spend KPIs to measure performance against budget and financial objectives - Partner with GTM and People teams on headcount planning, sales capacity planning, quota-carrying rep ramp, and fully-loaded cost analysis Required qualifications: - 3+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally in high-growth SaaS or FinTech - Advanced Excel skills with ability to build robust financial models - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Comfort with ambiguity and ability to balance multiple priorities in fast-paced environment - Deep understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV/CAC, NRR) and P&L flow-through - Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills - Ability to drive insights from large datasets; SQL experience a plus - Familiarity with NetSuite and Pigment preferred
