Salary: USD 90,000 - 125,000 / annual
Qumulo is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team and support planning, forecasting, and financial reporting for a rapidly growing cloud data platform company. The role reports to the Director of Finance and offers high visibility to leadership, the board, and investors.
Key responsibilities include owning the preparation and management of financial reports and forecasts (including quarterly cash flow forecasts), building and reviewing operating expense plans in Workday Adaptive Planning, conducting regular plan-vs-actual reviews with budget owners, and modeling the top line from ACV through bookings, billings, and ARR. You'll produce reporting packages for leadership including quarterly executive decks and board/investor materials, model alternative business scenarios, and automate recurring work using Excel, Adaptive Planning, or Python.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of FP&A, public accounting, corporate finance, or investment banking experience, with a strong accounting foundation (degree or Big 4 experience). You should understand SaaS business models and metrics (ARR, NRR, GRR, bookings, billings, ACV), revenue recognition across subscription and consumption contracts, and be able to build cash flow models from scratch in Excel. Fluency in P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statement connections is essential, along with advanced Excel skills including scenario analysis and variance frameworks. Hands-on analytics skills with Python, R, or demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for advanced analytics are bonuses.
The role requires on-site presence at the downtown Seattle office four to five days per week. Qumulo manages exabytes of data for demanding enterprise workloads including AI, HPC, genomics, medical imaging, and media rendering, serving over 1,100 customers globally.
