Okta, a leading independent provider of identity and access management for the enterprise, is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join its FP&A Global Capabilities Center team in Bengaluru. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager and offers the opportunity to drive financial planning and analysis at scale within a profitable, high-growth SaaS organization.
Key responsibilities include building automation and scalability of financial reports, dashboards, systems, and processes to support Okta's accelerated growth. You will analyze financial data to uncover trends and performance drivers, recommend operational improvements using data-driven insights, and provide critical data support for accruals, capitalization, and month-end close processes. The role involves building budget vs. actual dashboards with actionable insights, monitoring spend data to identify cost efficiencies, ensuring purchase orders align with budgets and financial policies, and delivering ad hoc analysis to support strategic financial decisions.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of FP&A experience with hands-on expertise in Anaplan (model building) and Tableau (dashboards and visualizations). You should have strong financial modeling and forecasting skills using Excel, Google Sheets, and Anaplan, with proficiency in building and presenting data-driven stories using PowerPoint or Google Slides. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining precision.
You will be comfortable working from the Bangalore office up to 3 days per week and flexible to support teams across PST hours when required. Experience with automation tools such as Apps Script, Excel VBA, Python, and AI applications is advantageous. Background in high-growth global high-tech, software, or SaaS organizations is a plus.
