Lightspeed Commerce is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team in Montreal, reporting to the Corporate Controller. This strategic role owns and transforms the company's cash flow forecasting and reporting processes, serving as a key liaison between Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and management. Key responsibilities include preparing quarterly cash flow forecasts, applying analytical rigor to assess forecast reasonableness and investigate variances, and collaborating with FP&A to develop and maintain cash flow budgets aligned with financial planning assumptions. You will reconcile forecasts to actual results, provide variance analysis and commentary to leadership and the Board, and lead the redesign of the company's cash flow forecasting framework and supporting models. The role involves working closely with Treasury to monitor cash movements and improve visibility into cash position, identifying automation and process improvement opportunities, and contributing to the implementation of financial models within Pigment (the company's financial planning system). You will build new analysis tools to understand key cash flow drivers and support broader Finance team initiatives including month-end/quarter-end tasks and ad-hoc projects. Required qualifications include 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A; CPA designation or active pursuit; B.Comm in Accounting or Finance or equivalent; strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow drivers; experience with financial planning systems (Pigment, Adaptive) and accounting systems (NetSuite); advanced Excel proficiency; and fluency in English as a working language. Preferred qualifications include SOX reporting experience, publicly traded company background, IFRS knowledge, and fast-paced company experience.
