As Senior Financial Analyst, you will be a core member of a lean finance team reporting to the Sr. Finance Manager. Your responsibilities span FP&A fundamentals—budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting—while providing strategic financial insights to company leaders.
Key responsibilities include: managing departmental spend across technology, marketing, and operations; building and maintaining financial models supporting all financial statements; supporting quarterly forecasts and investor reporting; partnering with People team on hiring plans and headcount forecasting; independently managing monthly and quarterly commission calculations; analyzing vendor spend and supporting contract renewals; supporting accounts receivable reconciliation and claims analysis to improve cash flow forecasting and revenue accuracy; owning partnership payments; and investigating forecast variances to surface risks and opportunities to leadership.
You'll need 2+ years in corporate finance, accounting, or consulting with strong financial modeling expertise (spreadsheet proficiency essential). Required: Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field; experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems; analytical problem-solving skills; ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments; exceptional attention to detail; and ideally, passion for supporting individuals with complex chronic needs including homelessness, severe mental illness, and substance use disorder.
