Salary: USD 95,000 - 120,000 / annual

Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive corporate finance operations for a rapidly scaling AI company pioneering the Recognition Economy. You will serve as a key financial navigator, moving beyond traditional reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities before they materialize. Key responsibilities include: - Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting cycles end-to-end - Conduct variance analysis (Actuals vs. Budget/Forecast) to explain fiscal performance to leadership - Build and maintain sophisticated financial models supporting capital allocation, long-range planning, and ROI analysis for market expansions and product launches - Act as a dedicated financial advisor to business units, translating departmental performance into enterprise impact - Help stakeholders manage OpEx and headcount while maintaining alignment with profitability goals - Prepare board-ready reporting packages and internal management dashboards - Ensure financial data integrity as the organization's single source of truth - Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, shorten close cycles, and document SOPs You bring 3+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, or Investment Banking, ideally in high-growth technology or AI environments. You are advanced in Excel (complex formulas, macros) and experienced with ERP/EPM systems (NetSuite, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan). You have solid GAAP knowledge and can deconstruct unit economics across business lines. Critically, you leverage generative AI and advanced data tools to accelerate modeling and automate reporting without sacrificing accuracy. You excel at translating granular data into clear executive narratives with flawless visual presentation. The role requires a proactive attitude, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to manage multiple high-priority deliverables under tight deadlines. A Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field is preferred; MBA or CFA track is a plus. Metropolis operates on an office-first model requiring four days per week on-site in Chicago to foster collaboration and innovation.
