Instructure is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join its Corporate FP&A team. This role focuses on building and maintaining Cash EBITDA and Free Cash Flow (FCF) models, coordinating the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and forecast cycles, and delivering clear financial insights to leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining Cash EBITDA and FCF models with monthly actuals, forecasts, variance analyses, and cash bridges
- Coordinating AOP and forecast cycles, consolidating financial plans and pressure-testing assumptions
- Connecting P&L, Cash EBITDA, FCF, and cash flow forecasts to show how operating performance translates to cash generation
- Partnering with FP&A teams and cross-functional business partners to analyze revenue, expenses, headcount, working capital, and key performance drivers
- Reconciling results with Accounting and Finance teams to ensure management reporting aligns with underlying data
- Producing monthly and quarterly reporting with actuals vs. forecast/plan analysis and actionable insights
- Preparing financial analysis, presentations, and supporting materials for senior leadership
- Simplifying and automating FP&A models and processes to reduce manual work
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic finance experience (preferably at a SaaS or technology company)
- Advanced financial modeling skills with hands-on Excel or Google Sheets experience
- Strong understanding of income statements and cash flow statements
- Ability to analyze large financial datasets and communicate results clearly
- Excellent communication skills for both Finance and non-Finance audiences
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across the organization
