Salary: USD 90,000 - 110,000 / annual

Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company building the energy and compute backbone for the world's most ambitious AI workloads. They own and operate every layer of the stack—from power generation to cloud services—with an energy-first approach to solve AI compute's most critical bottleneck: reliable, efficient power. You'll join as Senior Facilities Engineer at their Snyder, TX data center, owning the physical infrastructure that keeps their AI compute environment running at peak performance. This is a hands-on, high-impact role reporting into the facilities and operations leadership, responsible for day-to-day operations, maintenance, and performance of all facility systems. Key responsibilities include: managing electrical distribution systems (UPS, PDUs, switchgear, generators), HVAC, cooling/chiller plants, and building management systems (BMS); leading preventive and corrective maintenance programs; monitoring facility health via DCIM and BMS platforms to identify anomalies and respond rapidly; partnering with construction and capital projects teams on facility expansions and equipment upgrades; ensuring compliance with NEC, OSHA, and fire/life safety codes; maintaining critical documentation and SOPs; coordinating with third-party contractors for specialized maintenance and emergency response; supporting capacity planning for power, cooling, and space utilization; participating in 24/7 on-call rotation; and championing safety culture through lock-out/tag-out and electrical safety protocols. Required qualifications: 3+ years in facilities engineering, data center operations, or critical infrastructure; hands-on knowledge of electrical systems (medium/low voltage), UPS/PDU systems, backup generators, and automatic transfer switches; experience with mechanical/cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, chilled water plants, cooling towers); familiarity with BMS/DCIM platforms; working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, OSHA standards; ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings; strong troubleshooting and judgment under pressure; excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration. Preferred: Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management (or equivalent); hyperscale or colocation data center experience; DCIM tool familiarity; OSHA 30 certification; commissioning and integrated systems testing experience; knowledge of data center energy efficiency practices (PUE optimization, free cooling).
