Long-Term Stock Exchange (LTSE) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Manager to lead and shape the organization's enterprise risk management program. Founded by Eric Ries, LTSE is an SEC-registered national securities exchange designed to promote fair and orderly markets and help long-term focused companies thrive.
In this role, you will own significant components of LTSE's ERM program, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, governance, documentation, and reporting. You will plan and facilitate enterprise and functional risk assessments, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information to identify priorities and recommend action. You'll maintain the enterprise risk register, monitor key risk indicators and emerging risks, and ensure material concerns are surfaced promptly to leadership.
Key responsibilities include partnering across trading, compliance, legal, finance, technology, operations, and marketing to embed effective risk practices into day-to-day decisions. You will develop and improve risk policies, frameworks, and tools to keep them practical and responsive to LTSE's evolving needs. You'll design and lead scenario analyses, stress tests, and control evaluations, prepare clear risk reporting for senior leaders and governance forums, and serve as a trusted advisor on cross-functional projects and business changes.
You will also lead workstreams for regulatory examinations and audits, own the third-party vendor management review process, and identify opportunities to improve or automate risk processes and controls.
Required: Deep knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and methods; experience independently planning and leading complex risk work; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize complexity into clear recommendations; confidence to challenge assumptions and influence stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communication; sound judgment and commitment to compliance; 6-8 years of directly related experience, ideally in financial services, regulated organizations, exchanges, broker-dealers, fintech, or market infrastructure; deep understanding of market structure, trading mechanisms, regulatory requirements, internal controls, audit, or governance.
Preferred: Experience with risk reporting tools, data visualization, or workflow automation; relevant certifications (FRM, CRMP, RIMS-CRMP, CISA, or comparable).
