Veeam Software is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to design, document, and lead the implementation of technical solutions for customers following product sales. This role bridges customer business requirements with Veeam's data resilience and security technology, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices.
You will be responsible for conducting technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers to assess their IT landscapes and identify opportunities for improvement. You'll design both high-level and detailed solution architectures tailored to customer environments, create comprehensive technical documentation including architecture diagrams and implementation plans, and develop reference architectures to standardize deployments across both direct customer and partner-led projects.
Beyond design work, you will provide technical oversight during solution deployment and post-sales implementation, assist in proof-of-concept projects and technical workshops, support partner-driven deployments to ensure they follow Veeam best practices, and help resolve complex implementation challenges. You'll collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements, and provide level-of-effort estimations to support planning and resource allocation.
The position involves technical leadership and customer consultation, particularly for large enterprise customers undergoing digital transformation. You will work with pre-sales teams to ensure smooth transitions from initial solution design to implementation, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver successful outcomes.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, systems design, or related technical roles
- Deep expertise in data protection, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and hybrid environments
- Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with technical documentation and architecture diagramming
- Strong database skills including database administration expertise (preferred)
- Ability to work with both customer-led and partner-led implementation teams
