MISUMI Americas, a division of MISUMI Group, is a leading provider of standard, configurable, and custom manufacturing solutions. They integrate a vast catalog of components with a digital manufacturing platform to serve engineers and procurement teams across the product lifecycle, with operations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Chicago. As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive focused on Robotics, you will build deep relationships with robotics OEMs, warehouse automation integrators, and companies developing industrial robots, cobots, AMRs/AGVs, and humanoid platforms. Your role is to help these customers source precision components—actuators, end-effectors, structural parts, enclosures—as they move from prototype through low-volume and bridge production. You will research each customer's business goals, financial KPIs, vision, key initiatives, organizational structure, in-house manufacturing capabilities, and R&D labs. You'll map their internal decision-making structure and learn their product roadmaps, requirements, and market priorities. You'll also understand their existing partnerships and preferences. Armed with this knowledge, you'll configure solutions that accelerate time-to-market, identifying both prototyping opportunities and production-class manufacturing programs. Key responsibilities include: - Building relationships with mechanical/electrical engineers and supply chain leads at robotics and automation companies - Tracking industry trends (humanoid robotics, warehouse automation, autonomous mobile robots) to identify new account targets - Understanding robotics-specific manufacturing needs: tight tolerances, lightweight materials, small-batch runs, rapid design iteration - Building credibility with C-suite stakeholders - Prospecting to build and maintain a healthy pipeline - Meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas - Maintaining accurate account and opportunity forecasting in Salesforce - Generating new business opportunities within your target account list - Building meaningful, long-term relationships with key customer contacts - Representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events - Becoming an expert in your accounts' product development needs, plans, and challenges - Spending over 50% of your time traveling to meet customers face-to-face - Working within a team sales structure and collaborating cross-functionally to win complex deals - Delivering sales presentations and leading on-site meetings (sales meetings, quarterly business reviews, tech days) REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 8 years of consistently meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets - Experience selling specifically into robotics, automation, or advanced hardware companies (not just manufacturing broadly) - Manufacturing and supply chain industry experience - Familiarity with robotics components/subsystems (actuators, sensors, grippers, drivetrains) preferred - Comfortable working with customers who iterate hardware designs quickly and need fast part turnaround - BS/BA degree preferred - Strong grasp of product development and related business requirements - Experience driving consultative, solution-based sales and expanding within strategic industry verticals - Track record of quickly building a new pipeline and managing a forecast to consistently exceed quota - Expertise with modern sales tools (CRM, sequencing, prospecting, collaboration platforms) - Experience with TAM/SAM analysis - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
