Commvault is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong C# and C++ expertise to join their Bengaluru engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C#/.NET, focusing on building efficient, scalable, and reliable systems. Your responsibilities include developing solutions with strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals, applying object-oriented design principles, working on multithreaded and concurrent applications, debugging complex issues, and identifying performance bottlenecks. You'll collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment, participate in design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field with 3+ years of software development experience. You should have strong hands-on coding skills in C# (primary requirement) and good programming experience in C++. You'll need deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, .NET, multithreading, and concurrency. Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and distributed systems is expected. You should excel at debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in Agile environments are essential.
