Commvault is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong C# and C++ expertise to join their Mumbai development team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C#/.NET, focusing on building efficient, scalable, and reliable systems. Your responsibilities include developing solutions with strong data structures and algorithms fundamentals, applying object-oriented design principles, and working on multithreaded and concurrent applications. You'll debug complex software issues, perform root-cause analysis, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams in an Agile environment. You'll participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You bring 3+ years of software development experience with strong hands-on coding skills in C# as your primary language and good programming experience in C++. You have a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, .NET, multithreading, and concurrency. You're knowledgeable about Windows and Linux operating systems, networking concepts, and distributed systems. You excel at debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and thrive in Agile development environments. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
