Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Employer Brand Specialist to own recruitment marketing execution across all candidate-facing channels: social media, career site, and job boards. This is a newly created function within the Internal Communications team, and you'll be responsible for translating Klaviyo's employer brand narrative into campaigns, content, and career site experiences that convert candidates.
You'll report to Internal Communications and partner closely with that team on the broader employer brand strategy, while owning the execution side: channels, campaigns, performance metrics, and budget. A key part of this role is bringing market insight and hiring funnel data back to inform what the communications team writes about next—you won't just execute a predetermined strategy, but help shape it based on candidate sentiment, hiring trends, and competitive moves.
Since this function is new, you'll set the operating model and rhythm rather than inherit one. You'll have real autonomy and latitude to run channels, manage a budget, and make judgment calls on how recruitment marketing should operate day to day.
Key responsibilities include: owning recruitment marketing strategy across social, career site, and job boards; analyzing market trends and funnel data to inform content strategy; governing the career site (content, job distribution, performance, analytics); executing paid social and recruitment ad campaigns on LinkedIn and other platforms; producing recruitment marketing content (video, social, candidate storytelling); designing and producing quick-turn ad creative and social assets in-house using tools like Figma or Canva; analyzing campaign performance and refining strategy; managing the recruitment marketing budget and vendor relationships; optimizing job posting strategy across channels; and coordinating with internal communications and talent acquisition teams to keep recruitment marketing aligned with broader employer brand narrative and hiring priorities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in recruitment marketing, employer brand, or performance marketing, including having built or run a recruitment marketing function from the ground up
- Sharp market and hiring funnel awareness; ability to pull signal from hiring trends, candidate feedback, and competitive employer brand moves and turn that into concrete content ideas
- Comfortable owning a budget and vendor relationships independently with a track record of doing so
- Strong content production skills: able to create or direct video, social, and candidate-facing storytelling
- Working design skills; comfortable in tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe Express to quickly produce clean, on-brand ad creative and social assets
- Data-literate: reads campaign and funnel performance and uses it to make real decisions, not just report numbers
- Clear communicator who can take direction on narrative and bring your own point of view to what that narrative should cover
- Comfortable operating with real autonomy and minimal oversight
- Proficiency with GSuite and Slack required; experience with career site platforms, ad platforms (LinkedIn Campaign Manager, job board ad tools), lightweight design tools, and content production tools preferred
