Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities, seeks a Senior Division Operations professional for its Rocket Motor Systems group in Huntsville, Alabama. This role sits at the intersection of multiple business domains—Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Enterprise Resource Management—requiring someone who can synthesize cross-functional inputs into actionable plans and timely communications for organizational leaders. You will own program schedule evaluation and optimization, working with program teams and production operations to ensure on-time delivery of contracted work. Key responsibilities include planning ahead to deconflict competing program interests, balancing production capacity to minimize inter-program conflict and unnecessary overtime, and partnering with Business Development and Production Operations to assess proposal feasibility against existing commitments. You'll develop and maintain demand forecasts for both contracted work and ongoing proposals, positioning yourself as a critical hub for cross-discipline communication across production, quality, supply chain, engineering, business development, and senior leadership. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, innovation, and fostering a collaborative team environment that encourages accountability and high performance. You'll interact regularly with government agencies, internal teams, and senior leadership, requiring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Required: minimum 4 years in project/program management, management consulting, or operations (preferably aerospace/defense); proven track record leading complex development projects; excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills; ability to work cross-functionally; strong technical and analytical capabilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Project, and Jira; willingness to travel 25–50%; eligibility for U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred: B.S. in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline; demonstrated ability to operate in high-pressure situations; strong understanding of rocket motor systems, propulsion technologies, and manufacturing processes.
