Glossier is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations to lead the evolution and scaling of its vendor and distribution network across 3PL, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management functions. This role oversees all supply chain processes and budgets for Glossier's omni-channel direct-to-consumer business, including e-commerce, wholesale, and retail channels.
In the first six months, you will lead strategic planning for storage and distribution capacity across all channels, implement a long-term network strategy to support projected growth and geographies, establish and maintain vendor partnerships focused on quality and efficiency, and partner with 3PLs to optimize fulfillment processes (receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, returns). You will work with internal and 3PL technology teams to implement warehouse systems and automation, ensure brand-appropriate delivery and post-purchase customer experience, optimize sustainability across logistics and packaging, manage inventory reporting, and execute seamless operations during peak seasons.
By month twelve, you will manage budget and financial analysis with clear reporting standards, oversee outbound shipping budgets while reducing costs, drive system improvements and automation with strong ROI, develop management reporting and operational visibility, create a culture of continuous improvement aligned with Glossier's values, and implement standard operating procedures across the operations team.
You will lead and develop a team, working closely with internal stakeholders to support Glossier's domestic and international growth. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of logistics and inventory management experience, omni-channel beauty industry expertise (fragrance, makeup, skincare preferred), and hands-on knowledge of ERP, WMS, and e-commerce systems. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics, or related field is preferred.
