Glossier is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain Operations to lead the evolution and scaling of its vendor and distribution network across 3PL, warehousing, transportation, and inventory management functions. This role supports Glossier's omni-channel direct-to-consumer business, including e-commerce, wholesale, and retail channels. In the first six months, you will lead strategic planning for storage capacity to support growth across channels and geographies, implement a long-term network strategy for omni-channel distribution, establish and maintain vendor partnerships focused on quality and efficiency, and partner with 3PLs to optimize fulfillment processes (receiving, putaway, picking, shipping, returns). You will work with internal and 3PL technology teams to implement warehouse and material handling systems, ensure brand-appropriate delivery and post-purchase experience, optimize sustainability across logistics and packaging, manage inventory reporting, and execute seamless customer experience during peak seasons. Over 12 months, you will lead budget management, financial analysis, and performance measurement; manage outbound shipping budgets while improving service and reducing costs; explore opportunities to scale through systems improvement and automation; develop management reporting and operational analysis; create a culture of continuous improvement aligned with Glossier's values; and implement standard operating processes across the operations team. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of logistics and inventory control management experience, with required omni-channel beauty industry experience (cosmetics/skincare preferred). You must have hands-on experience with ERP, WMS, and e-commerce systems in omni-channel environments, plus working knowledge of warehousing operations, inventory management, receiving, and freight optimization. A Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics, or business management is preferred. You are an entrepreneurial, driven yet compassionate leader capable of motivating and developing teams to deliver operational excellence while maintaining Glossier's human-centered, playful brand values.
