Salary: USD 229,500 - 310,500 / annual
BigPanda is seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Finance to lead company-wide financial planning and strategy as the company transitions from SaaS to AI-native operations. This role sits at the intersection of corporate strategy and finance, reporting to the VP of Strategic Finance & Business Analytics with direct reports.
Key responsibilities include owning annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range scenario modeling; building sophisticated financial models for SaaS and AI consumption-based revenue models; leading cashflow forecasting and capital planning; partnering with executive leadership on corporate strategy, pricing evolution, and AI monetization; leading investor relations efforts and board reporting; and serving as an embedded finance partner to GTM, Product, and R&D leadership.
You will own KPI frameworks connecting financial outcomes to operational drivers, continuously improve finance processes and systems with automation and AI-driven insights, and translate complex business dynamics into clear financial narratives for executives and investors.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or comparable quantitative field; 10+ years in corporate FP&A, finance business partnering, investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance with significant SaaS experience and exposure to AI-native metrics; proven experience supporting investor relations and board reporting; strong financial modeling expertise including SaaS metrics (ARR, CAC, LTV) and AI/consumption-based revenue models; experience in cashflow modeling and capital planning; track record in fundraising and/or M&A; strategic mindset; exceptional communication skills; strong cross-functional leadership; comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
