AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Director of Revenue Systems to lead the strategy, architecture, engineering, and evolution of Salesforce and the broader revenue systems ecosystem. You will build and develop a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers, architects, administrators, and technical professionals while establishing engineering practices and technical standards required to scale the function.
In this role, you will own the long-term strategy and architecture of Salesforce, balancing evolving business needs with scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability. You bring technical credibility to challenge solution designs, navigate complex tradeoffs, and guide architectural decisions while partnering with business and technology leaders across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, developing, and growing a high-performing team of Salesforce engineers, architects, administrators, and technical professionals with clear ownership and career development
- Setting high bars for technical judgment, engineering quality, delivery, and operational excellence
- Building a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and speed while maintaining discipline for critical business infrastructure
- Modernizing how the organization builds, with focus on establishing modern Salesforce development and release practices including source control, CI/CD, automated testing, and environment management
- Setting technology strategy and roadmaps across complex, cross-functional business processes
- Identifying and adopting AI to improve engineering, development, operations, and team productivity
You bring 10+ years of enterprise technology, systems engineering, or platform engineering experience with significant Salesforce ecosystem expertise. You have 5+ years leading Salesforce engineering, architecture, or administration teams with a proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong technical talent. You possess strong Salesforce platform knowledge across architecture, development, integrations, data, security, and automation, with technical depth to engage meaningfully with engineers and architects. Your pragmatic, high-ownership leadership style emphasizes action, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.
