Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead all supply chain functions for the Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) division, which develops and manufactures autonomous aircraft (Fury), missiles (Barracuda), and loitering munitions (Roadrunner). This is a strategic leadership role accountable for building and scaling four core supply chain teams: Strategic Sourcing, Product Sourcing Engineering, Procurement, and Supplier Industrialization Engineering. Key responsibilities include leading and developing top talent across these teams while maintaining high performance standards. You will define best-in-breed supply chain processes, ensuring smooth handoffs between functions and clear accountability for outcomes. A critical focus is developing an engagement model with Engineering to incorporate supply chain considerations early in design, reducing production ramp risks. You will work with Corporate Development to build and execute innovative commercial strategies—including contracting, joint ventures, M&A, and vertical integration—to align incentives between Anduril and suppliers. You'll serve as the primary touchpoint to executives and C-suite leadership on all supply chain activities, risks, and opportunities for AD&S, communicating at appropriate levels while maintaining ability to dive deep into tactical details. Cross-functional collaboration is essential. You will work closely with engineering, program management, finance, and business line leadership to negotiate tradeoffs, secure cooperation, and resolve problems proactively. You will identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track supply chain health, monitor performance data, and provide regular reports to management. Risk mitigation is ongoing—proactively identifying and addressing potential supply chain disruptions and market changes. This role requires the ability to rapidly move between strategic direction and tactical execution, managing radical production ramps while controlling costs.
