Salary: USD 225,000 - 300,000 / annual

The Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives will play a key role within the Strategic Initiatives group, developing and executing strategies to drive GoodLeap's growth. This position involves liaising with internal and external stakeholders, conducting market research and analysis, evaluating build vs. buy vs. partnership arrangements, setting goals and guidelines, and overseeing operations from planning to execution. The role touches the entire business lifecycle and carries high visibility internally and externally. Key responsibilities include: - Analyzing GoodLeap's capabilities to develop and execute growth-accelerating strategies - Guiding capital markets team members in developing financial structures that enhance returns, including tax equity and tax credit transfers - Assisting business development teams in creating new products and services for contractors, homeowners, and financial institutions, including virtual power plants - Guiding technical and operations teams to leverage Salesforce and AI for automating back-office support, payment systems, CRM, and business service arrangements - Collaborating with technical and marketing teams to develop customer-facing applications that drive engagement and cross-selling opportunities The ideal candidate will have experience in distributed energy, capital markets, joint ventures or partnership relationships and agreements, M&A, cybersecurity and tech infrastructure, tax planning, and presentations to executives and board members. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in finance, corporate development, consumer lending, or distributed energy - Minimum bachelor's degree - Expert proficiency with MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint; VBA is a plus) - Working proficiency with SQL; Python is a plus - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Superb attention to detail and work ethic - Comfortable working in fast-paced, unstructured environments - Passionate about promoting sustainable solutions for homeowners - Cost performance analysis experience preferred - Six Sigma certification preferred - Prior consulting experience preferred
