Salary: USD 130,000 - 150,000 / annual
8Fleet is a Los Angeles-based technology and logistics company building operational infrastructure for modern rideshare fleets, including both non-autonomous and future autonomous vehicles. The company operates in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta, and Miami, with new markets launching soon.
As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a trusted strategic partner to both Co-Founders, translating their priorities into executable plans and personally owning mission-critical projects. You will report directly to the Co-Founder and CEO.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner directly with Co-Founders to prepare them for key decisions and execute on outcomes
- Own and run the company's strategic priorities end-to-end
- Drive cross-functional initiatives across Operations, Finance, and market teams from analysis through completion
- Build prioritization frameworks to identify highest-ROI opportunities
- Identify operational inefficiencies and rebuild underlying processes
- Track KPIs and analyze fleet performance data to uncover profitability and efficiency gains
- Prepare materials and analysis for leadership, board, and investor conversations
- Serve as the go-to problem-solver for urgent business needs
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, business intelligence, strategy, or related field, with high-growth or startup experience
- Direct experience working with founders or senior executives in fast-moving environments
- Strong analytical skills with the instinct to independently source and analyze data
- Demonstrated speed with attention to detail and bias toward action
- Excellent communication skills and sound judgment on escalation vs. decision-making
- Fluency in Google Workspace, particularly Sheets
- SQL, Python, or R proficiency is a strong bonus
- Rideshare platform experience (Uber, Lyft) is a strong plus
