SnapMagic is a leading platform serving 1.5+ million electrical engineers, helping them design products like drones, electric vehicles, robotics systems, and VR headsets. The company has built one of the world's largest electronics component databases and is now leveraging AI to transform how engineers discover, evaluate, and design with electronic components. With strong revenue growth, proven product-market fit, and backing from leading Silicon Valley investors, SnapMagic is entering its next phase of growth. As Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will create leverage for the CEO and the company by taking on the operational work that keeps the organization moving and building systems, workflows, and AI automations that accelerate the entire team. This is not a traditional administrative role—you are a builder and operator who will move fluidly between preparing leadership decks, running all-hands meetings, automating workflows, scoping new initiatives, and onboarding executives. Key responsibilities include: - Running the CEO's operating cadence: manage the CEO's calendar and priorities, prepare meetings, oversee the Executive Assistant, and ensure the CEO's time is spent on highest-leverage work. - Creating leverage through AI automation: identify repetitive, manual, and slow processes across the company and build automations, workflows, and AI-powered tools to eliminate them. - Driving team rhythm and communication: run all-hands meetings, executive meetings, and executive onboarding; prepare OKR and leadership materials; gather and act on company feedback. - Owning cross-functional initiatives: identify, scope, and own initiatives that span multiple teams; scale promising initiatives and hire people to own them full-time. - Supporting operations: lead People Ops and support Business and Tech Ops functions as the company grows. - Driving hiring: partner with the CEO and hiring managers to define roles, run searches, and keep the process moving, especially for leadership positions. - Serving as organizational glue: hold the team together through clear communication and feedback-gathering while maintaining appropriate discretion. This is a hands-on role where you will do the work yourself, build systems to scale it, and then delegate what should be owned by others. Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, Operations, Strategy, Business Operations, or similar generalist role, ideally at an early-stage startup - Demonstrated experience building automations, workflows, or AI-enabled processes that measurably saved time or improved output - Extreme attention to detail and high bar for quality - Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new domains quickly - Bias toward action and shipping first versions over planning - Fluency and speed with Google Docs, Slides, and Sheets - Working knowledge of key operational concepts (fundraising, OKRs, People Ops, hiring) - Excellent judgment and discretion with sensitive information - Strong written and verbal communication skills, credible with executives and all company levels - Comfort working in ambiguity and solving problems independently - Hustle and hunger to advance quickly The role is hybrid, requiring in-person work 3 days per week in the San Francisco office.
