Zscaler is seeking a Senior Director of Mergers & Acquisitions to lead post-merger finance integration strategy and execution. Reporting to the VP of Finance Business Transformation, you will architect and execute end-to-end M&A integration strategies, Day 1 readiness plans, and post-close transition plans across global finance operations.
Key responsibilities include establishing and governing the Finance M&A integration operational cadence, facilitating steering committees, managing cross-functional handoffs, and driving executive risk mitigation. You will lead long-term standardization, technology rationalization, and process harmonization of global financial systems and workflows in partnership with IT, Corporate Development, GTM, and People & Culture teams.
You will define strategic target operating models, retained staff organization structures, and knowledge capture capabilities to minimize operational disruption and target company attrition. You'll oversee integration dashboarding, financial close critical path alignment, and change management initiatives to ensure seamless metric reporting across all global finance functions. Additionally, you will support establishing Finance and other business processes when Zscaler expands into new regions and countries.
The ideal candidate connects day-to-day work to the larger company mission and builds finance solutions, governance frameworks, and executive teams designed to sustain long-term enterprise growth. You operate with high integrity and a strategic bias for action, seamlessly navigating between high-level executive steering committees and operational integration execution. You excel at distilling complex M&A integration challenges into clear, actionable transformation roadmaps and cultivate high-trust cross-functional partnerships through continuous candid feedback and transparent communication.
Required qualifications include an extensive track record of leading M&A Finance integrations, system cut-overs, and complex enterprise finance process transformations. Deep end-to-end expertise across global finance functions (R2R, O2C, FP&A, S2P, Tax, Treasury, Payroll) is essential. You must have proven experience establishing governance models, Steering Committee cadences, and integration success metrics for high-growth corporate transactions. Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance workflows, is required.
Preferred qualifications include deep domain knowledge of Finance M&A integration within enterprise SaaS and cloud security architecture companies, and hands-on strategic oversight of modern cloud financial platforms such as NetSuite, Coupa, Salesforce, and FloQast.
