This Senior Director of FP&A role reports to the COO/CFO and serves as a strategic financial partner to the executive team. The position combines financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, and board-level reporting while building the financial infrastructure to scale the business.
Key responsibilities include owning the annual operating plan and quarterly re-forecasts; building and maintaining financial models across ARR, revenue, headcount, operating expenses, gross margin, and cash flow; delivering monthly and quarterly reporting packages with variance analysis and actionable insights; leading the monthly board reporting process and investor materials preparation; serving as a strategic finance partner to go-to-market and G&A functions; owning KPI reporting across SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, GRR, NRR, LTV:CAC, Rule of 40); translating CRM and billing data into executive insights; supporting fundraising readiness and investor diligence; leading ad hoc analysis on pricing, capital allocation, and M&A opportunities; and driving process improvements, automation, and financial governance.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of FP&A or finance experience at high-growth B2B SaaS companies, deep expertise in SaaS metrics, advanced financial modeling skills in Excel/Google Sheets, experience with FP&A platforms (Adaptive, Anaplan, Mosaic, Pigment), board-ready communication skills, and the ability to translate operating data into clear strategic recommendations.
