HackerOne, a global leader in Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), is seeking a Senior Director, Enterprise AI & IT to lead a transformational mandate across two dimensions: (1) owning the company's enterprise AI and enterprise IT functions to drive AI-native ways of working, and (2) serving as the senior site leader for HackerOne's Pune, India office.
Reporting to the CTO, you will set and execute an AI-native strategy for the enterprise, moving beyond incremental AI adoption toward fundamental redesign of workflows and operating models. You will own outcomes for enterprise AI and enterprise IT systems, establishing clear priorities, accountability, and success measures while ensuring reliable service delivery today and building toward the company's future. This includes designing an AI-native enterprise IT model with increasingly automated help desk capabilities powered by AI agents, allowing human support to focus on judgment-intensive work.
As Pune Site Leader, you will represent HackerOne on the ground in India, building a cohesive, high-performing technical community. You will establish connections, operating rhythms, and shared identity across functions; step into cross-functional friction to resolve ownership and coordination issues; and shape the site's capabilities, talent, and leadership over the next 2–3 years. You will translate company strategy into local priorities and position Pune to take on increasingly strategic work.
Key responsibilities include: setting and executing AI-native enterprise strategy with measurable transformation outcomes; building and developing strong teams and leaders within Enterprise AI & IT; creating an AI-native IT model with automated help desk and continuous improvement; establishing the Pune leadership community and cross-functional operating mechanisms; applying data-driven decision-making to AI transformation and IT operations; and using first-principles problem-solving to challenge legacy assumptions and design scalable operating models. You will also represent HackerOne externally in India's technology and talent ecosystem to strengthen relationships and employer presence.
The role is fully in-office in Pune; remote options are not available. HackerOne values in-person connection and collaboration as essential to solving complex problems and fostering a vibrant community.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Significant senior leadership experience owning enterprise technology, AI transformation, enterprise systems, IT, or similarly broad technical functions, with accountability for strategy and execution across multiple capabilities and stakeholders
- Experience representing a technology company externally and building relationships across India's engineering, AI, technology, and talent ecosystem
- Demonstrated experience leading meaningful AI transformation—not simply deploying AI tools—including redesigning workflows or operating models and translating emerging AI capabilities into measurable organizational outcomes
- Experience operating in a highly technical environment with sufficient depth across enterprise systems, software/automation, AI capabilities, and IT operations to set technical direction, make informed tradeoffs, and build credibility with engineering and business leaders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building or leading a strategic technology site or major cross-functional technical organization in India, or comparable experience establishing a strong local leadership community within a global company
- Experience scaling AI agents, automation, internal developer tooling, or AI-enabled enterprise platforms across a complex organization
- Experience leading both enterprise IT/systems and transformation-oriented technology functions, including modernizing employee support through self-service and automation
