Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI, autonomy, and sensor fusion, seeks an exceptional Senior Director, Controller to lead global controllership operations. Reporting to the VP of Accounting, you will oversee accounting operations across domestic and international entities, manage audit execution, establish operational accounting policies, and lead the M&A integration team for the accounting organization. Key responsibilities include leading and scaling a high-performing, multi-disciplinary accounting organization spanning domestic and international operations plus M&A integration. You will oversee the end-to-end global financial close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, order management, cost accounting, and revenue operations. You'll direct regional accounting operations and compliance across growing international entities in EMEA, APAC, and the UK, and partner closely with the Director of M&A Accounting to ensure seamless integration of acquired entities. Additional responsibilities include managing execution of annual consolidated group audits, component audits, and regional statutory audits across all entities in partnership with external auditors. You will drive continuous improvement, automation, and scalability across Anduril's Oracle Fusion ERP ecosystem and connected systems. You'll establish and maintain robust accounting policies, internal controls, and standard operating procedures to support rapid business expansion and potential future public company requirements. Cross-functional partnership with Technical Accounting & Reporting, Government Financial Operations, Tax, FP&A, Legal, and CorpTech is essential. Required: 12+ years progressive accounting experience with significant leadership at Controller/Assistant Controller level in high-growth technology, manufacturing, or defense environments. Proven track record leading, scaling, and mentoring large geographically distributed accounting teams. Deep understanding of US GAAP, operational accounting workflows, international entity management, and M&A integration. Strong background with enterprise ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred) and modern boundary tools. Ability to execute while maintaining strategic vision in fast-paced environments. CPA (active or inactive) and/or MBA preferred. Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
