Crusoe is a vertically integrated AI infrastructure company that owns and operates the full stack from energy generation to cloud services. This Senior Director role leads the central finance function, serving as the financial planning and reporting backbone for a rapidly scaling, capital-intensive business spanning energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.
You will report to the SVP of Finance and own consolidated financial planning, forecasting, and reporting across all business lines. Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining the consolidated financial model integrating all business-unit forecasts; leading annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-range planning processes; creating monthly and quarterly financial narratives for the CFO, executive team, Board, and investors; providing analytical support for capital allocation decisions across competing growth opportunities; driving variance analysis to identify risks and opportunities; serving as the connective tissue between business-line FP&A teams, Accounting, Treasury, Corp Development, and Investor Relations; and ensuring planning and reporting processes meet internal control and audit standards.
The role begins as a hands-on contributor directly involved in modeling, presentations, and executive discussions, with the expectation to build and lead a small team of analysts and managers over time. You will be the source of truth for how Crusoe is performing and where it's headed, working in an environment of high ambiguity and rapid scaling.
Required qualifications: 10+ years of progressive finance experience including meaningful time in corporate FP&A or central finance at a high-growth, capital-intensive company; deep expertise in financial consolidation, long-range planning, and capital allocation frameworks including scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis; hands-on experience standing up or scaling FP&A platforms (Anaplan, Adaptive, or equivalent) with advanced Excel proficiency; proven ability to build materials for CFOs, executive teams, Boards, and investors; demonstrated cross-functional leadership aligning finance leaders around one set of numbers; and experience building or readiness to build high-performing teams.
Bonus qualifications include experience in vertically integrated companies spanning physical infrastructure and software/cloud services, and prior experience supporting fundraising, credit facilities, or investor reporting in high-growth private companies.
