SoFi is seeking a Senior Director, AI Enterprise Transformation to lead company-wide AI adoption and drive measurable business outcomes. This is a strategic leadership role combining deep technical AI expertise with executive influence and change management capabilities.
You will partner with technology and business leaders across Engineering, Product, Enterprise Architecture, Data, Corporate IT, Operations, and business functions to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact AI initiatives. Key responsibilities include developing and executing SoFi's AI transformation strategy and roadmap, identifying high-value opportunities for Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and intelligent workflows, and serving as a trusted advisor to technology and business leaders.
You will lead a team of product managers and software/forward-deployed engineers who partner with business teams to build agentic solutions driving material outcomes. Additional responsibilities include developing governance frameworks and operating principles for responsible AI adoption, leading complex cross-functional programs from strategy through implementation, evaluating emerging AI technologies and vendors, building executive business cases, establishing KPIs for AI adoption and business value, and recruiting and mentoring a high-performing team.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or related field, plus 15+ years leading enterprise technology strategy, digital transformation, consulting, enterprise architecture, or AI initiatives. You must have deep understanding of modern AI technologies including Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, and enterprise AI architectures, demonstrated success leading large-scale cross-functional transformation programs in complex organizations, and proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence decisions across multiple business and technology organizations.
Additional requirements include strong understanding of enterprise technology architecture, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and software development practices; exceptional ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for executive audiences; and track record of delivering measurable business value through technology transformation. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience building or scaling enterprise AI Centers of Excellence, financial services or fintech background, management consulting experience at top firms leading technology or AI transformation engagements, and AI product strategy or AI operations experience.
