Salary: USD 100,000 - 130,000 / annual
Everlane is seeking a Senior Designer for Women's Wovens to join their design team in Los Angeles. You will report to the Women's Design Director and lead the creation of product across shirting, dresses, casual and tailored bottoms, and technical/tailored outerwear. The role focuses on designing timeless, modern, effortless pieces that embody Everlane's brand ethos of purity and simplicity.
Day-to-day responsibilities include initiating designs with thorough research and inspirational imagery, hand-sketching initial concepts and computer-sketching final designs, creating technical packages, and collaborating with product development, merchandising, raw materials, and production teams to ensure optimal product development. You will review samples, attend fittings, and work closely with other design team members to develop cohesive seasonal product groupings. You'll also assist with presentations for milestone meetings and apply seasonal market knowledge to drive future product strategy.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise in woven garment construction (both casual and tailored), understands garment washing and dyeing processes, and has experience with technical outerwear. You will bring an obsessive eye for detail and a thorough editing process to ensure every piece is perfect—from fabric to fit, drape, and construction.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar designer role at respected fashion houses
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or closely related design field
- Technical knowledge of wovens construction, both casual and simple tailored
- Proficiency in AI, Illustrator, and Miro
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and solution-oriented approach to challenges
- Preferred: experience with garment washing, dyeing, and technical outerwear
