Scalable Capital, a leading European fintech platform with over 1 million clients and €50 billion in assets under management, is seeking a Digital Product Designer to join its Munich office.
In this role, you will own design work across the full product lifecycle—from problem framing through delivery and iteration. You'll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to create simple, accessible, and engaging experiences. Your responsibilities include:
• Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to understand customer needs, test assumptions, and drive improved customer and business outcomes
• Designing polished UI, user flows, prototypes, and meaningful interaction details
• Evolving the design system to ensure coherent experiences across products and platforms
• Collaborating with engineers during implementation with clear specifications and design guidance
• Reviewing final experiences against quality standards
• Using AI responsibly throughout the design process
• Managing work effectively, communicating progress, and coordinating priorities with stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
• Portfolio demonstrating strong visual craft, product thinking, collaboration, individual contribution, and measurable outcomes
• Experience designing for native mobile platforms and responsive web, with deep understanding of platform conventions and technical constraints
• Practical experience with discovery, user research, and usability testing; ability to translate ambiguity into clear design directions
• Excellent Figma proficiency, including components, variables, interactive prototyping, and design-system workflows (motion/micro-interaction experience is a plus)
• Fluent English; German is a plus
• Experience in fintech, regulated products, or trust-sensitive domains is a plus
