As a Learning Experience Designer, you will be a hands-on curriculum creator reporting to the Learning Experience Design Manager. This is a full-time, exempt role focused on designing and developing high-quality, learner-centered online courses delivered through the Pathstream platform.
Key responsibilities include:
**Design & Development:** Transform program goals into clear course structures by defining learning objectives and instructional approaches. Design and author interactive, asynchronous curriculum—including lessons, activities, and assessments—that build real-world skills for learners in industry contexts.
**Quality & Execution:** Iterate on course materials incorporating feedback from stakeholders and subject matter experts. Manage the entire course creation lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring timely execution, instructional quality, and alignment with program goals.
**Innovation & Strategic Alignment:** Leverage learning science and research to enhance instructional effectiveness. Use program data, learner feedback, and performance metrics to refine strategies and drive measurable outcomes. Thoughtfully incorporate AI tools into your day-to-day work while exploring new applications to improve learning experiences.
You will work across complex subject areas (fraud, claims, mortgages, financial literacy) and translate them into engaging learning experiences. You'll think holistically about the learner journey, making design decisions based on evidence of what works, and caring deeply about how experiences feel from the learner's perspective.

**Requirements:**
- 3+ years of meaningful experience designing and developing online learning experiences
- Direct contact with learners through teaching, coaching, facilitation, or similar work
- Ability to dive into new industries and build deep understanding of learner contexts and pain points
- Comfortable working across complex or technical subject areas
- Hands-on builder who enjoys day-to-day design and development work
- Passionate about creating learning experiences that change outcomes for working professionals
- Collaborative by nature, energized by cross-functional work
- Strong technical skills and creative drive to explore new technologies
- Excellent written communication skills with strong command of English
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Interested in fast-growing, fast-paced environments with changing responsibilities
