Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Senior Demand & Supply Planner to join its Planning team in Costa Mesa, California. This role carries material flow responsibility across the entire value chain—from raw materials through finished goods shipped to customers. You will own specific assemblies and product lines, serving as the primary signal to Purchasing and Manufacturing on what and when to buy or build. Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day demand signaling, ordering, and inventory for various product lines; identifying and resolving supply issues through collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing; leading Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) discussions for designated product lines; aligning forecasts with actual demand plans in partnership with Business Development and Growth teams; reporting on and analyzing supply and material health to inform strategic decisions; developing and maintaining processes within MRP systems and master data; and driving strategic initiatives toward best practices in demand shaping, advanced modeling, and inventory optimization. You will thrive in a fast-paced, resource-limited environment where ownership and creative problem-solving are essential. The role requires demonstrated experience managing complex operational challenges in manufacturing, with full end-to-end value chain ownership and accountability for on-time delivery and quality standards. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a technical or business field; 6+ years in supply chain or production roles within fast-paced manufacturing environments with complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies; complete ownership of a complex value chain; technical expertise in reading technical documentation and understanding hardware manufacturing processes; experience with ERP systems (Oracle, Netsuite) and CRM systems (Salesforce); and willingness to travel up to 10% and relocate to Costa Mesa if not already local. Preferred qualifications include a master's degree; 8+ years of supply chain/production experience; SQL database expertise for custom queries; proficiency in data analysis tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlikview); knowledge of supply chain planning systems like Blue Yonder; experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and six sigma; and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
