As Senior Data Product Manager, you'll be a key member of the Data Product team reporting to the Lead Data Product Manager. You'll own the strategic development and execution of data products that enable the organization to be data-driven and increase data maturity across Funding Circle.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and mentor junior data product managers, providing coaching and strategic guidance
- Partner with data engineers, analytics engineers, and data scientists to build world-class data products
- Translate stakeholder objectives across risk, commercial, and other business units into a prioritized product roadmap
- Own OKRs and planning cycles for your domain, becoming a subject matter expert
- Act as a translator between data engineering teams and analytics/reporting teams to align requirements and maximize value
- Champion data transformation initiatives, shaping how data is thought about and implemented company-wide
- Build strong stakeholder networks across the business, understanding their goals and delivering solutions that work for everyone
- Work with cutting-edge data technologies including data warehouses and data lakes
You'll need proven experience managing diverse stakeholder groups, understanding data platforms, working with data scientists and analytics teams, and proficiency in SQL. Strong communication skills are essential—you should be comfortable diving into technical details while also articulating the bigger business picture. The ideal candidate builds collaborative relationships, understands data's organizational impact, and can prioritize effectively across competing demands.
