Veeam is seeking a Senior Customer Success Engineer to drive long-term technical outcomes for enterprise and commercial customers across the Veeam Data Platform. This role combines technical expertise with customer advocacy, requiring deep knowledge of data backup, disaster recovery, and resilience practices.
Key responsibilities include: configuring customer accounts and customizing backup policies; leading onboarding and adoption initiatives; conducting disaster recovery assessments and recovery simulations using the Veeam Data Resilience Maturity Model (DRMM); delivering quarterly resilience reports; proactively identifying churn risk and upsell opportunities; building business cases and defining total cost of ownership (TCO); and engaging CISO/CIO stakeholders with risk and opportunity updates.
You will own a long-term account assignment model covering 5–50 Enterprise and Commercial-Named accounts with $100K+ ARR, partnering with Sales and CS leadership on renewal strategy, pricing, and commercial terms. The role demands strong cross-functional collaboration, executive stakeholder management, and the ability to translate business outcomes into technical adoption roadmaps.
Required qualifications: 5+ years in customer-facing engineering roles (Technical Consulting, Pre-Sales SE, or Technical Account Manager) focused on data backup and recovery; advanced English proficiency; hands-on expertise across operating systems, virtualization, storage, scripting/automation, cloud platforms, and DR&R best practices; VMCE certification (may be completed post-hire); and proven ability to design and execute protection plans, migrations, and recovery simulations. Preferred certifications include AWS Solutions Architect and Microsoft Azure Administrator/Solutions Architect Expert.
