The Credit Platform squad builds shared infrastructure powering lending decisioning across Monzo's products. This role leads a team of five Credit Analysts, shaping the evolution of the platform and driving the next generation of lending capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Shape the Credit Platform roadmap: Define strategy for Monzo's shared credit infrastructure, enabling Product Credit teams to develop, evaluate, and deploy lending strategies across retail and business lending products in the UK and new global markets.
• Build Credit Valuation Infrastructure: Lead evolution of infrastructure supporting credit valuation (NPV), decisioning capabilities, and data foundations that power lending across products.
• Drive Analytics & Insights: Leverage real-time analytics and self-serve tools (Looker) to support data-driven decisions and identify high-impact business problems.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Work with Credit, Product, Engineering, and Data teams to build scalable, consistent credit capabilities globally.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of five Credit Analysts, fostering analytical rigor and creative problem-solving.
• Scale International Capabilities: As Monzo expands globally, ensure the platform delivers consistent, scalable credit solutions across markets.
