Tilt is seeking a Senior Credit Manager to support its Cash Advance business, one of its largest product lines. This is an individual-contributor role with significant visibility and influence across the organization, though it does not involve managing a team.
You will work at the intersection of credit policy, model development, and product strategy. Key responsibilities include sustaining credit model and policy velocity by supporting ongoing development and refinement of credit models and underwriting policies for Cash Advance; driving new product experimentation by partnering on the design and evaluation of new product constructs and pricing approaches; bridging new product experiences with credit rigor by bringing both user/product and quantitative credit policy lenses to new initiatives; communicating complex analysis into clear, decision-ready recommendations for senior stakeholders; and partnering cross-functionally with data science, product, marketing, and other credit and risk functions.
You will be energized by moving between rigorous quantitative analysis and creative, ambiguous conceptual problems. The role requires deep ownership of high-impact analytical work and the ability to influence outcomes and build trust with senior stakeholders without formal reporting authority.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar); 5-7 years of experience in credit risk, data analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, ideally in consumer lending or fintech; excellent communication skills; demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and build trust with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners; strong analytical and problem-solving instincts with comfort operating in ambiguity; a creative, action-oriented approach; and eagerness to learn new tools and methods.
Tilt operates a virtual-first environment across 14 countries and 12 time zones. The company offers competitive compensation with generous equity, flexible health plans with substantial subsidies, paid global onsites twice yearly, and direct exposure to leadership. The culture emphasizes excellence, impact, and mutual respect.
