Fun is building infrastructure that powers consumer-facing fintech applications at the intersection of blockchain, financial services, and product experience. The company provides onboarding and deposit stacks for fintech builders, enabling seamless user interaction with blockchain-based systems.
As Senior Counsel, you will join the legal team reporting directly to the General Counsel. This is an all-purpose legal role with primary ownership of commercial and transactional matters, particularly partnership and integration agreements from initial client contact through signature. You will lead the rapid lifecycle of these agreements while expanding into broader legal functions including regulatory compliance, product legal, corporate governance, litigation, employment matters, and special projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning commercial and transactional legal matters, with emphasis on partnership and integration agreements
- Managing the full lifecycle of client agreements from negotiation to execution
- Advising on regulatory and compliance issues as the business scales
- Contributing to product legal strategy and corporate governance
- Supporting litigation and employment matters as needed
- Growing the legal function alongside the General Counsel
You will work directly with a seasoned General Counsel who will mentor you as the legal team expands. This role requires sharp interpersonal skills, strong legal judgment in identifying genuine risks, and the ability to draft clear, efficient agreements. The ideal candidate is a versatile lawyer comfortable operating across multiple legal domains in a fast-moving fintech environment.
