As Senior Counsel, you will serve as a key legal partner reporting directly to the General Counsel, working on consequential legal matters that drive the company's next growth phase. You will own important commercial matters, contribute to product design, resolve operational challenges, and develop legal strategy in a fast-moving, novel environment.
Key responsibilities include: advising stakeholders on legal and compliance matters across healthcare operations, clinical work, marketing, privacy, and data governance; drafting and negotiating commercial agreements while developing playbooks and templates; creating scalable legal guidance and AI-enabled workflows; owning core platform agreements including provider Terms of Service and privacy notices; leading day-to-day privacy and HIPAA counseling including data mapping and privacy-request workflows; and partnering with the compliance team to advance the healthcare compliance program aligned with OIG guidance and enterprise risk assessments.
You will need 6+ years of legal experience in commercial contracts and business counseling with a J.D. and active bar membership. Healthcare and healthtech experience is strongly preferred, ideally combining law-firm and in-house backgrounds. Meaningful experience with privacy and healthcare regulatory matters (HIPAA/HITECH, data use and sharing, business associate agreements, privacy requests) is essential. You should demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication, a track record of moving quickly and finding shortcuts, and high peer regard.
