Meesho is a social-first e-commerce platform democratizing internet commerce across India. The Growth team is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining users through compelling campaigns and initiatives across the user lifecycle.
As Senior Copywriter, you will craft persuasive, engaging copy that drives action across multiple channels including social media, push notifications, digital ads, and campaigns. You'll work closely with the creative team to develop innovative concepts that reflect Meesho's brand voice and personality. Your responsibilities include:
• Creating compelling copy for social-first campaigns, monthly sales campaigns, and user acquisition funnels
• Understanding and embodying the brand's essence, voice, and personality in all written work
• Collaborating with creative teams to brainstorm and develop fresh, boundary-pushing ideas
• Ensuring flawless execution with meticulous attention to grammar, consistency, and detail
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Bringing humor, wit, and creativity to every brief, turning ordinary concepts into extraordinary campaigns

REQUIREMENTS:
• 3–5 years of copywriting experience
• Proven track record of crafting impactful, persuasive copy across brands and industries
• Strong creative thinking and ability to develop ideas that stand out
• Meticulous attention to detail and grammar
• Quirky sense of humor and ability to entertain audiences
• Experience with ad agency and/or client-side work preferred
• Experience writing ad films for any medium
• E-commerce brand experience is a plus
• Strong recommendations from previous employers
