Twelve is a climate tech company pioneering carbon transformation through electrochemistry, converting CO₂ into critical products—fuels, chemicals, and materials—that traditionally rely on fossil fuels. The Senior Contract Administrator will serve as a hands-on commercial and contractual lead supporting medium and large complex capital projects. In this role, you will administer EPC, EPCM, construction, subcontract, and major service agreements from request for proposal through award, execution, and closeout. You will protect project value by ensuring contract compliance, maintaining disciplined records and correspondence, managing change orders and claims, supporting payment and cost controls, and helping project teams identify and mitigate contractual and commercial risk before issues escalate. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing contract administration processes; interpreting complex contract terms, scope, obligations, and notice requirements; maintaining complete contract records, correspondence, change logs, and claims registers; leading contract change administration including evaluation, negotiation, and tracking; supporting entitlement analysis for contractor claims and commercial settlements; partnering with Project Controls, Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and HSE teams; reviewing and validating contractor invoices and progress payments; monitoring contractor compliance with commercial and HSE obligations; preparing and managing formal project correspondence and notices; and driving contract closeout including deliverable confirmation, lien releases, warranties, and final account settlement. You will serve as a key interface lead between Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Finance, Legal, HSE, and contractors, ensuring obligations are understood, notices are timely, changes are properly evaluated, and claims are proactively managed. This role requires deep expertise in complex capital contract administration within industrial environments such as oil and gas, energy, chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, LNG, power, or heavy industrial sectors.
