Rocket Lab is seeking a Senior Compensation Partner to support its People & Culture organization at the global headquarters in Long Beach, CA. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, you will provide strategic compensation analysis and support the design, implementation, and administration of executive and broad-based compensation programs for new hires and internal employees. You will serve as a business partner to the People & Culture team and business leadership, supporting hiring decisions, promotions, organizational initiatives, and annual compensation programs. Key responsibilities include managing global compensation architecture, designing new job structures and salary bands, conducting quantitative analysis and market research, and developing compensation communication and training programs for recruiters, HR professionals, and managers. You will aggregate compensation survey data, research innovative compensation tools with emphasis on AI applications, and assist in developing a comprehensive total rewards strategy and roadmap. The role includes collaborating with IT on process improvements, providing analytical support for compliance requirements, reviewing and approving compensation requests, and presenting recommendations to leadership. Required qualifications: 8+ years of compensation analysis and administration experience with a bachelor's degree (or 12+ years total work experience), experience leading internal and external market analysis, and advanced Excel proficiency including model building. Nice-to-have qualifications include a master's degree, experience managing compensation in corporate functions or management consulting, M&A support experience, strong analytical and project management skills, knowledge of compensation regulations and best practices, and excellent communication abilities.
