Atoms is a Physical AI company building real-world robots for industries including food, mining, and transport. The company operates across 30+ countries with multiple business lines and is seeking a Senior Compensation Business Partner to drive compensation strategy and execution.
Reporting to the Head of Compensation, you will serve as a strategic partner to senior business leaders and HR leadership, owning compensation programs for complex, high-visibility client groups. The role operates with significant autonomy, requiring data-driven judgment and strong business partnership to deliver tailored compensation solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deep partnership with Business Unit leaders and HRBPs to translate talent needs into compensation recommendations
- End-to-end planning and execution of core compensation programs (annual cycles, promotions)
- Roadmap development for compensation data products, deciding priorities and leading design/deployment
- Driving an AI-first approach, identifying where automation and agents can replace manual analysis
- Building and owning international compensation strategy across multiple countries, adapting frameworks to local market realities and regulatory requirements
- Supporting cross-functional teams through organizational change
- Partnering with HRIS and Total Rewards Operations on systems like Workday
- Mentoring and developing team members as a technical and strategic resource
Required qualifications: 7–10 years of progressive experience in global compensation, total rewards, or human capital management consulting (10–15 years total professional experience); demonstrated experience owning compensation strategy and designing frameworks in ambiguous environments; deep expertise in U.S. compensation regulations and compliance plus international knowledge; track record advising VP+ stakeholders on high-stakes compensation decisions including executive compensation; expert-level analytical skills; ability to translate data into clear executive narratives.
Desired qualifications include Master's degree (Business Analytics, MBA, Economics, HR Management), experience building compensation data products, CCP or GRP certification, SQL/Python/Tableau proficiency, equity management experience, executive compensation background, and deep Workday knowledge.
