Form Energy, a climate tech company pioneering long-duration iron-air battery systems for grid-scale energy storage, is seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to join its Total Rewards team. This role is critical as the company scales manufacturing operations and expands its workforce across the United States.
You will lead market pricing and benchmarking initiatives by participating in industry salary surveys, analyzing competitive market data, and evaluating pay trends to maintain competitive compensation structures and regional pay differentials. You'll develop and maintain job architecture frameworks, evaluating new and existing roles to establish accurate job levels, titles, and FLSA exemption statuses while ensuring consistent job descriptions and structural alignment.
Key responsibilities include facilitating the annual pay review process by building budgets, auditing data, and setting up tools; partnering directly with HR and managers to advise on pay strategies. You'll ensure compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws, including EEO regulations, while performing ongoing internal pay equity reviews. You'll also help design, model, and audit short- and long-term incentive plans, partnering with finance and payroll to validate cycle payouts and manage plan rollouts.
You'll build dynamic compensation models, dashboards, and ad-hoc reports to drive informed decision-making and help leadership visualize compensation metrics and talent costs. Required: Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field. 5+ years in Compensation, Total Rewards, or HR Analytics with proven experience building enterprise Job Architecture frameworks. Comprehensive understanding of Total Rewards, compensation philosophy, and competitive incentive design. Hands-on experience with standard market-pricing tools and major HRIS platforms. Strong analytics capabilities and HR metrics expertise. Preferred: CCP, SHRM-CP, or PHR certification.
