Kabam is seeking a Senior Community Manager for Marvel Contest of Champions (MCOC), a leading multiplayer mobile game with hundreds of millions of downloads. This role is central to bridging the player community and internal development teams, combining content creation, community engagement, creator relations, and cross-functional collaboration. You will own multiple dimensions of community management: **Content Creation & Strategy**: Develop and execute communication schedules, live streaming strategy, and on-camera talent/hosting. Produce featured champion content, deep dives, new mode breakdowns, and educational materials. Serve as a product expert supporting monthly releases and act as a liaison between game teams and marketing. **Player Engagement & Moderation**: Maintain and improve official forums and Discord, respond to player discussions, host monthly community follow-ups, and moderate according to community guidelines. Gather direct feedback from players and advocate for their needs internally. Oversee community giveaways and engagement events. **Creator & VIP Relations**: Build and maintain relationships with content creators and VIPs, providing them with information, assets, and programs to enhance their content. Collaborate on Dev Diaries, short-form videos, livestreams, and AMAs. Manage the Creator Code program. **Tracking & Reporting**: Monitor community channels for bug reports, maintain player-facing bug boards, and send weekly sentiment/feedback reports to dev and leadership teams. Communicate cross-departmentally to relay player insights and gain guidance. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with social, community, brand, customer support, and development teams to ensure player preferences inform campaigns, in-game content, and features. Attend cross-department meetings and provide QA feedback on upcoming modes, events, and launches. **Special Projects**: Take ownership of special initiatives as assigned by leadership. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in MCOC with professional community management experience and strong content creation skills. **Requirements:** - Minimum 5+ years of experience in Marvel Contest of Champions (subject matter expert level: Masters in Alliance War, Celestial in Battlegrounds, Elder progression) - 5+ years bridging external consumers and internal development teams, translating community insights into actionable game development plans - Advanced video capture, editing, and on-camera experience (required) - Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal and external audiences - At least 2+ years creating and publishing content for Marvel Contest of Champions - At least 3+ years running and operating gaming-specific social media channels (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) - Knowledge of Discord management and development
