Moody's Global Communications team is seeking a Senior Communications Strategist to drive high-impact communications for Moody's Ratings, shaping executive messaging, strategic campaigns, and stakeholder content across a global organization.
In this role, you will lead the development and execution of communications initiatives including executive messaging, intranet content, leader resources, and campaign assets aligned to Moody's tone of voice and strategic priorities. You'll apply strategic and critical thinking to understand business context and audience needs, turning inputs from multiple sources into cohesive, high-impact communications. You will take a leadership role in planning and executing high-priority communications initiatives and campaigns, connecting individual messages to broader narratives and business goals.
You'll partner with senior leaders across Global Communications and the broader Corporate Affairs team to assess communications challenges and recommend thoughtful, practical solutions. Using judgment, you'll anticipate questions, risks, or gaps in messaging and proactively address them through clear and well-structured content. You'll own how communications effectiveness is measured, using tracking, reporting, and insights to continuously refine strategy.
Working cross-functionally with colleagues across Corporate Affairs—including external communications, social media, brand, and public affairs—you'll gather information and align messaging. You'll build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders by listening carefully, asking the right questions, and translating input into clear, high-impact communications.
The Global Communications team sits within Corporate Affairs and works closely with colleagues across external communications, brand, and public affairs. The team embraces AI-powered tools to sharpen content, accelerate workflows, and deliver greater impact. By joining, you'll be part of high-visibility work that shapes how one of the world's most trusted financial institutions connects with its people and stakeholders globally.
