Salary: USD 143,500 - 160,150 / annual
MISUMI Americas, a division of MISUMI Group, is a leading provider of standard, configurable, and custom manufacturing solutions. The company integrates a vast catalog of components with a digital manufacturing platform to serve engineers and procurement teams across the Americas, with operations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Chicago.
As Field Marketing Director, you will lead comprehensive field marketing strategy and execution for MISUMI Americas. This is a high-visibility role bridging broader go-to-market objectives with localized marketing activations, driving demand generation, brand authority, and customer engagement while ensuring measurable pipeline growth and ROI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own planning and execution of all corporate and community events (trade shows, summits, customer events, webinars, field activations)
- Partner with the Director of ABM to plan and execute account-based events, align target-account investment, and manage shared attribution
- Own SWAG program strategy and budget across Sales, Marketing, and internal initiatives
- Define and own field marketing strategy, budget, and annual plan aligned to GTM and revenue goals
- Own event and field marketing performance reporting and ROI analysis; present strategy and results to VP of Marketing and executive team
- Partner with VP of Marketing, CMO, Sales leadership, Product Marketing, and Communications on strategy and execution
- Manage outside vendors, agencies, and contractors
Travel requirement: 35–40% annually, domestically, for trade shows, summits, customer events, and leadership off-sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10+ years in field, event, or experiential marketing; B2B technology, manufacturing, or industrial markets preferred
- Proven budget ownership ($1M+) and track record building a program or function from the ground up
- Experience managing outside vendors, agencies, and contractors
- Experience partnering with ABM or account-based marketing teams on target-account events and shared attribution
- Executive presence; comfortable presenting strategy and results to C-suite stakeholders
- Ability to travel 35–40% annually domestically
